Mountain View had won eight straight games and Justus Platts did his part to make it nine on Friday. The Buffalos enjoyed a cozy 33-14 win over the Lyman Eagles with plenty of help from Platts, who rushed for 170 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Mountain View's leading receiver Ashton Colangelo was Platts' top target yet again, picking up 187 receiving yards and three scores. Colangelo is on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Lyman, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 79-20 win against Glenrock on the 31st. Lyman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
