Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Saria Hawkins and Kellie Vicchrilli Lead Wiggins to Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wiggins had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Denver Christian Thunder. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Leading Wiggins to victory were Kellie Vicchrilli and Saria Hawkins. Vicchrilli had 15 digs and one assist, while Hawkins had six digs and one assist. Vicchrilli is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Wiggins' record now sits at 22-8. As for Denver Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-6.

Wiggins didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Simla on the 15th. Denver Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
