Meridian faced Cole Valley Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Meridian fell 10-7 to Cole Valley Christian. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Maggie Diffin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Alison Pitman was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Cole Valley Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Meridian will face off against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Cole Valley Christian, they will square off against Owyhee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
