Recap: Parkland Mustangs vs. Reagan Raiders
Even though the Reagan Raiders scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, the Parkland Mustangs still came out on top. Parkland took their matchup against Reagan 62-55. For Parkland, this counts as revenge for the 85-78 defeat Reagan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Parkland's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brock Jackson, who scored 14 points along with three steals. Jackson hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Joshua Moore was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Parkland now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Reagan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5.
Parkland will head out on the road to face off against Davie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Davie knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Parkland likes a good challenge. As for Reagan, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mount Tabor at 8:00 p.m. Mount Tabor is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
