Kamehameha Kapalama is 9-1 against Mid-Pacific Institute since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Kamehameha Kapalama Warriors will host the Mid-Pacific Institute Owls at 7:00 p.m. Mid-Pacific Institute took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Kamehameha Kapalama, who comes in off a win.

Kamehameha Kapalama will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against 'Iolani on Thursday. Everything went Kamehameha Kapalama's way against 'Iolani as Kamehameha Kapalama made off with an 11-3 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Bobbi Cambra, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Alexis Ahlo-Garcia, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

Cambra wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Kamehameha Kapalama kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Mid-Pacific Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Punahou, falling 14-7.

The win got Kamehameha Kapalama back to even at 2-2. As for Mid-Pacific Institute, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Kamehameha Kapalama took their victory against Mid-Pacific Institute in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-4. Will Kamehameha Kapalama repeat their success, or does Mid-Pacific Institute have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
