Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Neah Bay). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Oakville Acorns 76-18. The Red Devils pushed the score to 52-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Acorns had no chance of recovering from.

Neah Bay's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Swan, who rushed for 133 yards and four scores on only nine carries. That's the most rushing yards Swan has posted since back in October of 2024. Caleb Cummins was another key player, rushing for 120 yards and a pair of TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Neah Bay proved: they limited Oakville to a paltry 2.4 yards per carry. The team can thank Swan for the heroic effort on defense: he. Neah Bay didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 17.4.

Neah Bay didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Timothy Secor and Swan.

When it comes to explaining why Oakville lost, don't look at Ben Kimbrel. Despite the final result, he rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 61 receiving yards and one score.

Neah Bay has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.0 points over those games. As for Oakville, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Neah Bay nor the Acorns have any future games scheduled.
