Basketball Recap: Fayette Takes a Loss

Fayette had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 71-56 bruising from the Harrisburg Bulldogs. The Falcons have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Fayette still got an impressive performance from Colten Cross, who went 7-for-14 on his way to 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Cross is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgen Campbell, who posted nine points.

Harrisburg has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Fayette will take on Slater in a tournament on Friday. As for Harrisburg, they will be taking part in a tournament against Westran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
