Zach Rizzo produced another solid effort throwing for 217 yards and a pair of TDs on only 18 passes, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground. A healthy portion of Rizzo's aerial production (85 yards to be exact) went to Dominic Rinaldi, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
St. Joseph was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September.
Another reason for the win was St. Joseph's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Sincere Williams, Jack Schmitz, and Brady Brandt, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Crivitz's side was Christopher Kenesie, who made five total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended one pass in addition to snagging two interceptions.
Meanwhile, a win is a win, as they say, even a pretty close 12-7 victory over Roncalli.
St. Joseph better focus on containing Kolton Peters and Wyatt Bieber as the pair were huge in Coleman's win. Peters gained 151 total yards and a touchdown, while Bieber rushed for 90 yards and one score. Peters was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards.
St. Joseph's record now sits at 13-0. As for Coleman, their record is now 9-2.
