Bishop McCort has won seven straight games at home, while Richland has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Crushers will welcome the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bishop McCort's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 33-0 win over Marion Center. That's two games straight that the Crushers have won by exactly 33 points.

Angelo Gallucci had an outrageously good game as he threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 94 yards on only 11 carries. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. A healthy portion of Gallucci's aerial production (97 yards to be exact) went to Brady Page, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Bishop McCort proved: they limited Marion Center to a paltry 2.7 yards per carry. While two picked up at least six total tackles, Gallucci stood above the rest. He threw for 187 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 94 yards on only 11 carries. The dominant display was nothing new: Bishop McCort has now limited their opponent to fewer and fewer yards per carry in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Richland rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 35-13 margin over the Blue Devils. The Rams pushed the score to 35-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Devils cut but never quite recovered from.
Richland found their leader in sophomore Jacob Regan, who threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Arnold Mugerwa was Regan's top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Bishop McCort's record is now 12-0. As for Richland, their record now sits at 11-1.
Bishop McCort strolled past Richland when the teams last played back in September by a score of 31-12. Will the Crushers repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
