Basketball Recap: Sidney Has No Trouble Against Walton

Sidney won the last time they faced Walton and things went their way on Monday too. The Sidney Team managed a 41-37 victory over the Walton Warriors. That four point margin sets a new team best for the Team this season.

Walton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Grace Walley, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards, and Alivia Conklin, who posted eight points and nine rebounds. That's the most points Conklin has posted since back in January of 2024.

Sidney now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Walton, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sidney will face off against Harpursville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Walton, they will challenge Deposit-Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th.
