Volleyball Recap: Ayainna Cly Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Tintic

While Monument Valley's win against Tintic wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Miners on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Miners: they've now won five in a row.

Monument Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ayainna Cly led the charge by getting 17 assists and six digs. That's the most digs Cly has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Nay'Myia Morgan, who had ten digs.
