Softball Recap: Peniel Baptist Academy Warriors vs. Ocala Christian Crusaders

In what's become a running theme this season, Peniel Baptist Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Ocala Christian Crusaders a 10-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Peniel Baptist Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Alexis Peacock was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Peacock has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Peacock was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Traelyn Baker and Shanley Jenkins did most of the damage at the plate: Baker scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Jenkins went 2-for-2 with four RBI, two doubles, and a run.
