Basketball Game Preview: Shelton Chargers vs. Trinity Christian Eagles

The Shelton Chargers will head out on the road to face off against the Trinity Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Shelton is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Pantego Christian just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 92-55 loss at the hands of the Panthers. The Chargers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-21.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian entered their tilt with Ovilla Christian on Friday with 16 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 17. They snuck past the Eagles with a 52-46 victory.

Trinity Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Shelton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
