Edmund Burke Academy's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the John Hancock Academy Rebels 64-36. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 28 points or more this season.

Edmund Burke Academy was led to victory by Owen Redd and Blake Reddick. Redd posted 14 points and seven steals, while Reddick went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points and four steals. Reddick has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Carey, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds.

Edmund Burke Academy pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for John Hancock Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
