Baseball Recap: Green Run Comes Up Short

Kempsville hit Green Run with a six-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Stallions came up short against the Chiefs, falling 12-2. The Stallions have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Green Run's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Kempsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 15-4 record this season.
