Volleyball Recap: Margaretta Comes Up Short

Margaretta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Huron Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-9.

Huron found their leader in sophomore Adelyn Van Sickle, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Margaretta's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Huron, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Margaretta is set to square off against their familiar foe Willard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Huron will take on rival Vermilion at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
