It was a proper cat-fight when Lewis & Clark duked it out with Mead on Thursday. The Tigers came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 4-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Tuesday.

Lewis & Clark's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11. As for Mead, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-16.

Lewis & Clark and Mead could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 168th) will meet Mt. Spokane (ranked 17th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mead will face off against Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (244 vs. 12).
