Baseball Game Preview: Pella Dutch vs. Gilbert Tigers

Pella is 1-6 against Gilbert since June of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Dutch will welcome the Tigers at 5:00 p.m.

Pella had taken Ballard down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Dutch fell 11-7 to the Bombers.

Meanwhile, Gilbert waltzed into their game on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Huskies get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. That looming 6-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Pella's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Gilbert, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Everything went Pella's way against Gilbert when the teams last played back in June of 2025, as Pella made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Dutch repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
