Robertson and St. Michael are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2017, but not for long. The Cardinals will head out on the road to challenge the Horsemen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Robertson 12.3, St. Michael's 5.7) so any points scored will be well earned.

While Robertson's win against Hope Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Huskies 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cardinals have posted since October 11, 2024.

Robertson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Elijah Ortiz and Marcus Montoya.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Michael's). They blew past Pojoaque Valley 61-7 on Saturday. Fans of the Horsemen have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

St. Michael's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Robertson, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-3.

Robertson came up short against St. Michael's when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 34-21. Thankfully for the Cardinals, Soren Annon (who rushed for 149 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
