Tonganoxie and Louisburg are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Chieftains will take on the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tonganoxie is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Tonganoxie's tournament run continued when they took on Maize South on Saturday. The Chieftains took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mavericks.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Louisburg didn't have quite enough to beat Perry-Lecompton on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Tonganoxie's loss dropped their record down to 13-15-2. As for Louisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10.

Tonganoxie took their win against Louisburg in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chieftains since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
