Softball Recap: St. Anthony's Takes a Loss

Sunday just wasn't the day for St. Anthony's offense. They came up short against the Donovan Catholic Griffins on Sunday, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Friars, who until this contest were averaging 2.5 runs allowed.

St. Anthony's saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juli Murillo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

St. Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Donovan Catholic, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

St. Anthony's didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-2 victory against Sacred Heart Academy on the 8th. Donovan Catholic has also already played their next game (against Point Pleasant Boro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
