Recap: Pembroke Dragons vs. Holley Hawks
The Pembroke Dragons waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Holley with points to spare, taking the game 45-30. That's another feather in the cap for Pembroke, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pembroke to victory, but perhaps none more so than Peyton Liss, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals. Reagan Schneider was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Pembroke's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Holley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Pembroke will be playing at home against Oakfield-Alabama at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakfield-Alabama will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Pembroke surely won't give up without a fight. Holley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
