David Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carrollton Warriors. One positive for the Blue Devils, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Abby Ammon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Malone, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

David Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Carrollton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. David Anderson will face off against Southern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The match will give David Anderson their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Carrollton, they will head out on the road to challenge Indian Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
