Like Newman Smith, Creekview lost despite seeing results from several players. Ahmari Washington led the charge by picking up 91 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Cason Garcia was another key player, throwing for 284 yards and three touchdowns.

Newman Smith's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Creekview, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.
