After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Charles, Lutheran North was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Elsberry Indians with a sharp 16-6 victory. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Crusaders this season.

Lutheran North's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jace Bateman, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.

Lutheran North's victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Lutheran North will square off against Miller Career Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Elsberry, they will head out to take on Palmyra at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
