Volleyball Recap: Veritas Academy Takes a Loss

Veritas Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Bishop Dunne on Saturday. Veritas Academy fell 2-0 to Bishop Dunne. Veritas Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bailey McGehee paced Veritas Academy's offense, picking up six kills. McGehee got some help from Avery Roberts and her 12 assists. Evie Vimont controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Veritas Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Bishop Dunne, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Veritas Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against New Braunfels Thunder on the 18th. As for Bishop Dunne, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against UME Preparatory Academy on the 19th.
