Volleyball Recap: Encinal Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Encinal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots, falling 3-0. If the Jets were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Pilots when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Encinal was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-9.

Encinal's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Encinal will take on Bishop O'Dowd at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Joseph Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
