Pusch Ridge Christian Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 51-38 victory over the Florence Gophers on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-27 back in September.

Race Pinneo went supernova, throwing for 306 yards and four TDs while completing 84.8% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Those 306 passing yards gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Florence still got an impressive performance from Brody Ramirez, who threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score.

The win made it two in a row for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games. As for Florence, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Benjamin Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Chargers' defense has only allowed 8.4 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them. Florence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
