Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Panthers vs. Prosper Eagles

The Princeton Panthers will square off against the Prosper Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Princeton has given up an average of 62.5 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Princeton turned things around against Sachse on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mustangs, sneaking past 68-65. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since November 25, 2025.

Meanwhile, Prosper came up short against Martin on Wednesday and fell 57-45.

Prosper has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Princeton, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Princeton couldn't quite get it done against Prosper in their previous matchup back in January of 2025 as they fell 40-32. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
