Softball Game Preview: Greece Arcadia Titans vs. Victor Blue Devils

The Greece Arcadia Titans will challenge the Victor Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Greece Arcadia has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Greece Arcadia came up short against Penfield on Wednesday, falling 15-1.

Meanwhile, Victor beat Spencerport 6-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Maddie LaRiccia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Anna Ferraraccio and Mackenzie Visingard did most of the damage at the plate: Ferraraccio went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Visingard went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Izzy Law was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Greece Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Victor, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.
