The Mt. Vernon Rams will head out on the road to take on the Salem Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Vernon is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.
Mt. Vernon had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past DuQuoin 9-1. The victory was just what Mt. Vernon needed coming off of a 7-2 defeat in their prior game.

Mt. Vernon made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-3-1. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
