Newark Catholic is a perfect 10-0 against Utica since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Green Wave are taking a road trip to challenge the Redskins at 7:00 p.m. Newark Catholic is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Tuesday, Newark Catholic made easy work of Watkins Memorial and carried off a 3-0 win.

Newark Catholic walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Utica beat Mt. Vernon 3-1 on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 18-25, 25-11, 25-16.

Newark Catholic better focus on containing Callie Baker and Megan Hartley as the pair were huge in Utica's win. Baker had 18 digs, while Hartley had 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Hartley a new career-high.

Newark Catholic's record now sits at 17-0. As for Utica, their record is now 16-3.

Newark Catholic took their win against Utica in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Wave since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
