Basketball Game Preview: Wayne County Wildcats vs. Summertown Eagles + How To Watch

The Wayne County Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Summertown Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Wayne County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Wayne County challenged Lewis County on Monday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 71-46 margin over the Panthers. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Wayne County relied on the efforts of Cayman Camfield, who posted 18 points and three steals, and Kace Bryant, who went 5-for-9 en route to 17 points. Those 17 points gave Bryant a new career-high. Case Butler was another key player, putting up six points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Summertown had just enough and edged out The Webb School 57-55 on Saturday.

The victory got Summertown back to even at 1-1. As for Wayne County, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Wayne County couldn't quite get it done against Summertown in their previous meeting back in February as they fell 68-59. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
