Football Recap: Stoneham Comes Up Short

Stoneham was the 42-21 winner over Burlington when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans lost to the Red Devils on the road by a 30-14 margin on Friday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stoneham's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Burlington, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stoneham is set to square off against their familiar foe Wakefield Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Burlington will take on rival Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
