Basketball Game Preview: Elma Eagles vs. Black Hills Wolves + How To Watch

The Elma Eagles will challenge the Black Hills Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Elma faced off against Raymond/South Bend on Friday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Ravens with a sharp 53-32 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Isaac McGaffey had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. What's more, he posted five assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Dylan Meyer was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Black Hills earned a 49-40 win over Hoquiam on Friday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Black Hills now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Elma, their record now sits at 2-0.

Elma didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Black Hills when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 61-56 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
