Volleyball Recap: North Penn's Undefeated Season over After 15 Games

If North Penn was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Central Bucks West on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Bucks South Titans on Thursday. The loss was the Knights' first of the season.

North Penn was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Central Bucks South work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 25-18, 29-27.

Madlen Potrusilova paced North Penn's offense, picking up 12 kills. Potrusilova got some help from Belle Mikulski and her 16 assists. Mikulski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Penn fell to 14-1. As for Central Bucks South, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

North Penn has already played their next matchup (against Dock Mennonite), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Central Bucks South also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Central Bucks East.
