Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Faith Christian Academy lost against Westover Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions were dealt a 67-13 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-5.

Westover Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Silas Zeidler, who went 5-for-8 en route to 10 points. Zeidler has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Logan Smith, who posted 13 points.

Faith Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Westover Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Faith Christian Academy will challenge Varsity Opponent at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Westover Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Cave Spring at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
