Basketball Game Preview: Legacy Athletics Stallions vs. Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders

The Legacy Athletics Stallions will head out to face off against the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Legacy Athletics will be strutting in after a victory while Cornerstone Christian Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Legacy Athletics took a loss when they played away from home back in November, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed back in November. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hayworth Christian 49-18. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Stallions had established a 26-point advantage.

Emma Jaye Benton had an outrageously good game as she shot 50% from the field en route to 21 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Kilby, who posted six points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 73 points the game before, Cornerstone Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Forsyth Home Educators, falling 49-25.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Legacy Athletics, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
