Soccer Recap: Crimson Cliffs Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hurricane last Thursday, Crimson Cliffs came back down to earth. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Snow Canyon Warriors who were credited with the win on Tuesday. The Snow Canyon Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs' three. Crimson Cliffs have struggled against Snow Canyon recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Macey Woolley wasn't going to let Snow Canyon walk away unscathed as she scored both of Crimson Cliffs' goals, bringing her season total up to 20 goals.

Crimson Cliffs' loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Snow Canyon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Crimson Cliffs didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Cedar on the 25th. As for Snow Canyon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Desert Hills on the 29th.
