Soccer Game Preview: Williams Valley vs. Northern Lehigh

Williams Valley is 0-4 against Northern Lehigh since October of 2022 but things could change on Saturday. The Vikings will welcome the Bulldogs at 12:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Williams Valley lost 8-1 to Tri-Valley on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Williams Valley were already down 5-0.

Meanwhile, Northern Lehigh fell victim to Northwestern Lehigh and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Northern Lehigh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 454th, while Northwestern Lehigh are ranked 37th).

Northern Lehigh's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Williams Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Williams Valley might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Northern Lehigh when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Vikings were down 5-1.
