Walden Grove extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 5-0. They walked away with a 53-42 win over the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions. This was payback for the Red Wolves, who suffered a 58-49 loss the last time these two teams met.

Walden Grove had a senior duo take command as Mitchel Collins posted 20 points and Alvaro Arvizu put up 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Arvizu.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy fell to 5-1. The loss was their first of the season.

Despite the loss, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Noah McKinney, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 12 points. McKinney is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last four games he's played. Frankie Lopez was another key player, putting up six points.

Walden Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-46 defeat against ALA - Queen Creek on the 29th. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, they will square off against Amphitheater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
