Brookings faced Brandon Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brookings now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Brandon Valley, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
