Soccer Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Clinton on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Comets by a score of 3-2. That makes it the first time this season Hamilton have let down their home crowd.

Gavin Hames and Jude Page-Fagon scored both of Hamilton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 32 goals.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3-1 record this season.

Hamilton will face off against McGraw at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clinton, they will take on Utica Academy of Science at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
