Ryland Besco Game Report: @ Jefferson Area

Ryland Besco posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk).

Even though Besco couldn't lead Geneva over Jefferson Area, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Besco's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Eagles' three-game streak of wins on the road.
