Football Game Preview: Klein Bearkats vs. Magnolia Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Klein Bearkats are taking a road trip to square off against the Magnolia Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Klein will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Klein will bounce into Friday's game after beating Tomball Memorial, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Bearkats enjoyed a cozy 56-39 win over the Wildcats on Thursday. Given the Bearkats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Wildcats are ranked 318th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Magnolia was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Magnolia West 45-12. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 28 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Magnolia and bumps their season record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 15 points in those games. As for Klein, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Klein won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in November of 2024, slipping by Magnolia 32-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearkats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
