Football Recap: Boca Raton Wins Going Away Against Forest Hill

Boca Raton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 28-12 win over the Forest Hill Falcons. That 16 point margin sets a new team best for the Bobcats this season.

Adon Elmon was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 149 yards on only ten carries. Those 149 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Sonny Pepitone also helped with two scores in total.

Another reason for the win was Boca Raton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Jacory Noel was the leader with three. Noel is crushing it when it comes to sacks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Boca Raton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Forest Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-3.

Boca Raton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 24-6 win against Stoneman Douglas on the 26th. As for Forest Hill, they have also already played their next contest, a 41-0 defeat against John Carroll Catholic on the 25th.
