Baseball Recap: Tippecanoe Valley Takes a Loss

Tippecanoe Valley's last matchup with Glenn could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Vikings lost 14-2 to the Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-5 on Thursday.

Tippecanoe Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Alderfer, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Tippecanoe Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Glenn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Tippecanoe Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-10 defeat against Fairfield on the 17th. As for Glenn, they will square off against South Bend Career Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Trailblazers at the right time seeing as the Trailblazers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
