Football Recap: Lubbock-Cooper Finds Home Field Redemption Against Legacy

There's no place like home for Lubbock-Cooper, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Legacy Leopards 49-26 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Pirates' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Leopards are ranked 674th).

Lubbock-Cooper's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Legacy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Lubbock-Cooper will face off against Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Legacy, they will take on Plainview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Leopards will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
