Newfound Regional has gone a perfect 3-0 against Hillsboro-Deering recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bears will look to defend their home court against the Hillcats at 6:15 p.m. Newfound Regional will be strutting in after a win while Hillsboro-Deering will be coming in after a loss.

Newfound Regional took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Franklin with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro-Deering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Mascenic Regional.

Hillsboro-Deering's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Newfound Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Everything went Newfound Regional's way against Hillsboro-Deering in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Newfound Regional made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hillcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
