It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Providence Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Peshtigo Bulldogs by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Providence Academy were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Peshtigo earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Providence Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-5. As for Peshtigo, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8-4 record this season.

Providence Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peshtigo, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-2 loss against Sturgeon Bay on the 25th.
